Hi, I’m Kristen—and I’m so glad you’re here. Crafted by Kristen began as a quiet nudge I couldn’t ignore, shaped by my own seasons of transition, growth, healing, and rediscovery. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats—educator, principal, executive leader, coach, consultant, and speaker—but the constant thread has always been this: I love helping people grow.
I created this space as both a soft landing and a strong launching pad. A place where women and leaders can feel seen, supported, and equipped with the clarity and confidence needed to step into their next chapter. Whether we’re working together through coaching, connecting at a workshop, or collaborating through corporate training, my hope is that you leave feeling grounded in who you are and encouraged about where you're headed.
The olive tree is a symbol I hold close—rooted, resilient, and able to thrive even in rocky soil. That’s the heartbeat of this brand: slow, intentional, meaningful growth that begins from within.
For more than 25 years, I served in education as a teacher, principal, district director, and executive director. In 2021 I was honored to be named Kansas Principal of the Year—an acknowledgment of both my work and the incredible teams I had the privilege to lead. Those years taught me that leadership is deeply human work, and that clarity, communication, and values alignment change everything.
Today, through Crafted by Kristen, I blend leadership development, life coaching, communication training, and values-based growth. As a Certified John Maxwell DISC Consultant & Trainer and John Maxwell Certified Speaker & Coach, I help individuals and teams strengthen their communication, deepen their self-awareness, and lead with confidence and intention. Transformation isn’t just about mindset—it’s about mind, body, values, and purpose.
I’m also a BODYBAR Pilates certified instructor, because I believe movement is one of the most powerful tools for healing, confidence, and reconnecting with yourself.
I am an active member of the Wichita Independent Business Association, The Thread Women’s Leadership Collective (Cohort 10), and The Hive—communities that inspire me and allow me to support and champion other women and business leaders.
Outside of work, I’ve volunteered with organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and remain committed to building community wherever I go. I’m a lifelong learner, a lover of books, and someone who believes every season of life holds wisdom—if we slow down long enough to listen.
If you’re here, perhaps you’re stepping into your own “olive era”—a season of clarity, alignment, and becoming.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you do.
With gratitude,
